When I select the checkboxes for default access to Backend categories and posts under the "Posts & Pages" section, it's taking anywhere from 10 seconds to over a minute for the checkmark to appear. When I check the network, it appears to be related to a call to admin-ajax.php that occurs after each click. This long delay is driving me crazy and also adding a major strain on my server load. Any chance you could help? I've already disabled other plugins that might be in conflict, but there is no difference in performance.
